Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer
Join Coolbrook as a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer and help scale breakthrough technology decarbonising heavy industry—designing manufacturable products and building global supply chains.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer to join Coolbrook’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain team.
Coolbrook is a transformational technology and engineering company on a mission to decarbonize major industrial sectors like petrochemicals and chemicals, iron and steel, and cement. We bring together world class expertise across different fields, building a strong, impactful, and passionate organization to scale up our technology for decarbonisation. Our international and growing team is working in Finland, the UK and the Netherlands. We are leading a Clean New Industrial Era.
As Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer, you will have responsibility and accountability for ensuring the product designs are manufacturable, for developing the product supply chain and manufacturing processes to meet all requirements.

Sourcing & Supply Chain design – technical sourcing of the parts with suppliers, looking at supplier capability and capacity to make at rate and supply chain design as volume moves from low to high volume.
Capability Acquisition – understanding design requirements for new manufacturing techniques, considering where and how to mature this technology and then to managing this to cost and schedule.
Quality Planning – ensuring that the principles of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) are in place.
Production support – once in manufacture, problem solving issues through to delivery of parts with appropriate conformance documentation in place.
For success in this role, you will need
Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or suitable industry experience.
Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing engineering or relevant discipline.
Experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes from new products through to ongoing production.
Strong technical knowledge, including experience of turbomachinery, it’s manufacture and assembly.
An ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and resolve manufacturing & product issues.
Oversee the design and implementation of manufacturing systems, equipment, and facilities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Strong problem solver with a proven ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Happy to be flexible and willing to work on a variety of tasks, sometimes outside the natural “lane” of a Manufacturing Engineer.
At Coolbrook we are passionate about building teams where unique perspectives and backgrounds are valued and where everyone feels equally included.
If this resonates with you, we are looking forward to receiving your application.
