We are looking for a Commissioning Manager to join Coolbrook’s Delivery & Aftermarket team.

As Commissioning Manager, you will ensure the successful commissioning, validation, and handover of Coolbrook’s RDH Rotodynamic Heater units to customers. You will participate in the first-ever RDH on-site V&V testing, validate subsystem commissioning and DCS/SCADA integration, and support service-related testing. A key part of the role is training customer operators in safe and efficient use of the RDH during commissioning and handover.

In this permanent role you will be based in Helsinki, Finland or East Midlands, UK or Bangalore, India and report to SVP, Delivery & Aftermarket, while collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
As Commissioning Manager, your responsibilities would include
- Participate in commissioning of RDH units on-site, ensuring safe and effective startup and operation.
- Coordinate subsystem commissioning and validate system functionality.
- Ensure integration of RDH controls with customer control systems, validating operational readiness from the customer control room.
- Carry out service-related testing and recommissioning after overhauls or modifications.
- Troubleshoot, document, and resolve commissioning-related issues with support from engineering and suppliers.
- Validate and contribute to commissioning protocols; create and finalize internal instructions during first deliveries.
- Deliver customer operator training focused on operations, safety, and daily preventive maintenance routines supported by engineering and service teams.
- Ensure compliance with Coolbrook standards, HSE requirements, and contractual obligations during commissioning activities.
- Provide structured feedback to engineering and service teams to improve commissioning methods and reliability.
For success in this role, you will need
- Strong background in control systems, instrumentation, automation, and subsystem commissioning.
- Experience in commissioning turbomachinery, large drives, or equivalent industrial systems.
- Familiarity with DCS/SCADA integration and validation of control functionalities.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving commissioning and service-related issues.
- Customer-facing communication skills, with ability to train operators on safe and efficient use.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and commissioning best practices.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively to global customer sites.
