We are looking for a Field Technical Advisor to join Coolbrook’s Aftermarket team.

As Field Technical Advisor, you will be the on-site representative of Coolbrook, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the RDH Rotodynamic Heater and its subsystems. You will play a central role in inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support, while also contributing to the development of Coolbrook’s long-term service capability through participation in the first RDH assembly and creation of O&M protocols.

In this permanent role you will be based in Helsinki, Finland or East Midlands, UK or Bangalore, India and report to the SVP, Delivery & Aftermarket while collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
As Field Technical Advisor, your responsibilities would include
- Perform and supervise inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance of RDH units.
- Conduct and lead shaftline alignment, borescope inspections, and service tasks.
- Oversee subsystem functionality and inspections of Air Intake, Lube Oil, Compressed Air, Gearbox, Motor.
- Coordinate or execute on-site trim balancing when required.
- Support disassembly, transport, and reassembly of components on-site or at workshops.
- Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Act as Coolbrook’s customer representative on-site, ensuring professional communication and service mindset.
- Use digital monitoring and diagnostic tools to support service and troubleshooting.
- Participate in the first RDH unit assembly and help establish service protocols.
- Contribute to O&M and Service Manual development to prepare for scaling.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and local service partners.
For success in this role, you will need
- 10+ years of experience in turbomachinery or heavy rotating equipment field services.
- Strong expertise in mechanical maintenance, borescope inspections, shaftline alignment, and balancing.
- Familiarity with auxiliary systems: air intake, lube oil, compressed air, gearbox and motors.
- Proven experience supervising service activities and coordinating with sub-suppliers.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-facing service experience.
- Global mobility and willingness to travel extensively.
- Safety-first mindset and ability to work in demanding environments.
