We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join Coolbrook’s Finance team in Helsinki.

As Senior Financial Controller, you will be Coolbrook’s monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with all local statutory requirements. As a relatively small organization, you will be involved in a broad range of financial responsibilities, including project reporting, cash management, and taxation. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish and organize group accounting functions from the ground up. You will play a pivotal part in shaping and advancing our external reporting processes as the company continues to grow.

As Senior Financial Controller, your responsibilities would include

• Managing group accounting and financial reporting
• Preparing monthly and interim financial statements, while ensuring their accuracy
• Establishing and maintaining group accounting policies
• Enhancing accounting and reporting procedures globally
• Clarifying and developing financial systems and processes
• Participating in versatile financial tasks within the company

To excel in this position, you should have:

• A Master’s degree in accounting
• Approximately 8 years of professional experience, time in international manufacturing or industrial environments is considered a plus
• Background in managing accounting operations on a global scale
• A detail-oriented approach and the ability to independently oversee tasks of moderate to high complexity
• A strong curiosity and motivation to learn the business fundamentals
• Fluency in both Finnish and English at a professional level
• Familiarity with Oracle Netsuite is an advantage
• Experience with project-based reporting is valued
• Valid authorization to work in Finland
